The ACCION Network is a dynamic and active organization
composed of some of the world's most established microfinance institutions.
These institutions work together to strengthen each other and to
strengthen the microfinance industry as a whole.
The Network's mission is to work together to fully integrate microfinance
institutions into the financial systems of their respective countries.
Network members also exchange information and best practices on
issues that pertain to the microfinance industry.
The true strength of the Network lies in its 21 members of which
15 are regulated institutions or NGOs in the process of transforming
into regulated institutions. The 20 institutions that provide direct
financial services are all leaders in their respective regions.
All are committed to eliminating world poverty. ACCION International
provides its support as coordinator of the Network.
Together, the members of the Network aim to continue to push the
boundaries of microfinance through innovation and collaboration.
